SINGAPORE ― Marvel fans, keep your calendar free on April 16 as the cast of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War will be in Singapore for a fan event.

Stars Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Benedict Cumberbatch (Dr Strange), Karen Gillan (Nebula) and director Joe Russo will be attending a red carpet-style fan event at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS) to celebrate the release of the Avengers: Infinity War movie. The movie opens in Singapore theatres on April 25.

Announcing this in a joint media release on Wednesday (March 21), Marvel Studios and MBS said the fan event is open to the public.

MBS president and chief executive officer Geoerg Tanasijevich said the “ground-breaking event” will showcase the company’s ability to host unique and large-scale global events.

More details on the event will be issued on April 2 at noon through the MBS website.

Mr Mahesh Samat, Executive Vice-President and Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company (South Asia), said the company is happy to bring fans even closer to their heroes.

“We thank our Marvel fans and partners like Marina Bay Sands for being a part of this celebration,” he added.
