Climate experts say to expect wetter year in 2014

SINGAPORE — With rainfall last year already higher than in recent years, climate researchers said to expect an even wetter year in 2014.

SINGAPORE — With rainfall last year already higher than in recent years, climate researchers said to expect an even wetter year in 2014.

According to the Meteorological Service Singapore, the total rainfall recorded from Jan 1 to Dec 26 last year was 2732.4mm.

This is an increase of about 27 per cent over last year, when rainfall was 2159.9mm.

Annual rainfall was 2524.2mm in 2011. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
