COE premiums close mixed; large cars and Open category prices rise from previous exercise

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW dropped by 11.17 per cent to S$85,001.
Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, premiums jumped from S$110,001 in the previous bidding exercise to S$135,336.
For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went down by 5.27 per cent to S$73,889.
In the motorcycle category, premiums went down to S$10,001, compared to S$10,889 in the last bidding exercise.
And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums went up by 8 per cent to S$135,002.
