COE premiums close mixed; large cars and Open category prices rise from previous exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices closed mixed at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Nov 22).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW dropped by 11.17 per cent to S$85,001.

Large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, premiums jumped from S$110,001 in the previous bidding exercise to S$135,336.

For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went down by 5.27 per cent to S$73,889.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went down to S$10,001, compared to S$10,889 in the last bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums went up by 8 per cent to S$135,002.

Cat A (Cars up to 1,600cc & 97kW or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW): S$85,001 (down from S$95,689)

Cat B (Cars above 1,600cc or 97kW or fully electric cars with output over 110kW): S$135,336 (up from S$110,001)

Cat C (Goods vehicles and buses): S$73,889 (down from S$78,001)

Cat D (Motorcycles): S$10,001 (down from S$10,889)

Cat E (Open category): S$135,002 (up from S$125,001)
