COE prices rise for all categories; premiums for large cars, open category remain above S$100,000
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices continued to rise across the board on Wednesday (June 22), with premiums for the open category and for large cars both remaining above S$100,000.

COE prices for the open category and for large cars had crossed the six-figure mark earlier this month, a level not seen since 1994.
Prices across all other categories also rose at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday.
In the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles, premiums went up by 3.68 per cent to S$104,400.
For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went up from S$100,684 in the previous bidding exercise to S$106,001.
Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) increased by 1.61 per cent to S$74,989.
For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went up slightly by 0.02 per cent to S$53,011.
And in the motorcycle category, premiums climbed to S$10,302, compared to S$10,000 in the previous bidding exercise.
