COE prices rebound from recent falls by rising across the board; Cat B premiums surge over 30%
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Jan 17), two weeks after premiums for cars slumped in the last exercise on Jan 4.
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Jan 17), two weeks after premiums for cars slumped in the last exercise on Jan 4.
After the latest bidding round, premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW jumped by 25.5 per cent from S$65,010 to S$81,589.
Premiums for large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW) or fully electric cars with output over 110kW leapt 31.7 per cent from S$85,010 in the previous bidding exercise to S$112,000.
For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices edged up by 0.59 per cent to S$68,001.
In the motorcycle category, premiums rose to S$9,309, compared to S$9,114 in the previous bidding exercise.
And in the Open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums increased by 2.46 per cent to S$109,004.
