COE prices rise across all categories after April 3 bidding exercise

Premiums for small cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW) went up by 9.38 per cent to S$29,159.
Large cars (above 1600cc or 97kW) saw premiums go up from S$39,401 in the previous bidding exercise to S$43,009.
Meanwhile, goods vehicles and buses saw COE prices go up by 1.78 per cent to S$27,502.
In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$3,490, compared to S$3,469 in the previous bidding exercise.
Finally, in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums went up by 17.58 per cent to S$48,209.
