Covid-19: 19 more hawker centres to have entry checks in place by Nov 29, ready for dine-in groups of up to 5
SINGAPORE — Nineteen more hawker centres will have vaccination entry checks in place by Nov 29, allowing for groups of up to five fully vaccinated or eligible persons to eat at those premises, the National Environmental Agency (NEA) said on Friday (Nov 26).

Fully vaccinated or eligible persons will be given a sticker to identify them after checks at hawker centres, while those who are not vaccinated or partially vaccinated can only buy food to take away.
SINGAPORE — Nineteen more hawker centres will have vaccination entry checks in place by Nov 29, allowing for groups of up to five fully vaccinated or eligible persons to eat at those premises, the National Environmental Agency (NEA) said on Friday (Nov 26).
As of Friday, there are 13 hawker centres that have put in place vaccination checks at access points, an increase from the initial batch of 11.
Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre and Market, the first of the additional 19 hawker centres, is set to have its entry checks in place by Saturday, NEA said in a Facebook post.
The others will have the checks in place by next Monday, while Singapore’s remaining hawker centres will do so by next Tuesday.
The 19 hawker centres to have entry checks by Nov 29 are:
- Bukit Panjang Hawker Centre and Market (Nov 27)
- Yishun Park Hawker Centre
- Maxwell Food Centre
- Tanglin Halt Market
- Chomp Chomp Food Centre
- East Coast Lagoon Food Village
- Adam Food Centre
- Commonwealth Crescent Market
- Block 51 Old Airport Road
- Block 117 Aljunied Avenue 2
- Block 13/14 Haig Road
- Block 4A Eunos Crescent
- Serangoon Garden Market
- Block 50A Marine Terrace
- Block 79/79A Circuit Road
- Block 80 Circuit Road
- Block 84 Marine Parade Central
- Block 89 Circuit Road
- Block 104/105 Yishun Ring Road
Patrons of these food centres may either show the personnel manning the access points the vaccination verification on the TraceTogether mobile application, or provide their TraceTogether token to be scanned to determine their vaccination status.
Fully vaccinated or eligible persons will be given a sticker to identify them so that they will be allowed to have their meals at these hawker centres, while those who are not vaccinated or partially vaccinated can only buy food to take away.
Individual stallholders will not need to check patrons’ vaccination status.
