Expect slight haze in the next two weeks: NEA
SINGAPORE – Slightly hazy conditions could be expected sporadically for the next two weeks, as low level winds have been forecasted to blow from the south-southeast or south-west during the current South-west Monsoon season.
The PSI peaked at 113 at 6am yesterday before tapering off the rest of the day.

SINGAPORE – Slightly hazy conditions could be expected sporadically over the next two weeks, as low level winds have been forecasted to blow from the south-southeast or south-west during the current South-west Monsoon season.
“During this period, short-duration thundery showers can be expected on four to six days in the late morning and early afternoon,” said the National Environment Agency (NEA) in its fortnightly weather forecast today (Sept 16). “In addition, thundery showers with gusty winds can also be expected on one to two days in the morning.”
The amount of rainfall for this month is expected to be near average.
The three hour Pollutants Standard Index (PSI) fluctuated slightly today, but remained in the moderate range, with the highest level of 71 recorded at 1am.
