HOME founder Bridget Tan hospitalised after stroke

SINGAPORE — Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME) founder Bridget Tan has been hospitalised after suffering from a stroke today (Feb 5).

SINGAPORE — Humanitarian Organization for Migration Economics (HOME) founder Bridget Tan has been hospitalised after suffering from a stroke today (Feb 5).

Ms Tan, 65, known for her advocacy work on behalf of migrant workers, is said to have collapsed in her home this morning and was brought to Changi General Hospital, where she was warded in the intensive care unit.

According to a statement posted on the Facebook page of the Archdiocesan Commission for the Pastoral Care of Migrants and Itinerant People, a religious group serving migrant workers, Ms Tan is believed to have suffered a stroke resulting from a blood clot in her brain.
