Kovan murder: Accused remanded for another week for investigations

SINGAPORE - The police officer charged with the double murder at Kovan, Iskandar Rahmat, was remanded for another week for investigations.

SINGAPORE - The police officer charged with the double murder at Kovan, Iskandar Rahmat, was remanded for another week for investigations. Iskandar has been accused of the murder of Tan Boon Sin, 66, and his son, Tan Chee Heong, 42, at their Hillside Drive home on July 10. At today's brief mention in court, the prosecution told the court that Iskandar had been warded in Changi General Hospital from July 15 to 21 due to an infection on his right hand. Iskandar will be back in court next Monday, on July 29. If convicted, he faces the death penalty.
