Lorry catches fire on Lentor Avenue

A lorry caught fire on Lentor Avenue yesterday evening, bringing traffic to a crawl, although no one was hurt. The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said the incident occurred at around 7pm on Lentor Avenue in the direction of Ang Mo Kio. The SCDF despatched a Red Rhino and a fire engine to put out the blaze. The case is under investigation. Photo: Wee Teck Hian
