SINGAPORE — Since the MediShield Household Check Exercise began in May, there has been a “steady increase” in the number of households who have completed the exercise.

The exercise started on May 1 to determine eligibility for MediShield Life premium subsidies.

Senior Minister of State for Health Dr Amy Khor said today (May 10) the majority have gone online to complete the check.

“Over 7th and 8th of May, for instance, an average of 7,000 households a day completed the household check and more than 90 per cent did it online. So indeed we are happy the residents have found the e-service easy and simple to use,” said Dr Khor, speaking on the sidelines of a block party to engage residents on the household check exercise in Hong Kah North constituency.

Over 100 residents attended the session, and grassroots leaders were on hand to help residents complete the household check exercise online. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
