Motorcyclist, 26, killed in accident with lorry and bus at traffic junction in Bugis
SINGAPORE — A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving his vehicle, a lorry and a bus early on Thursday (May 25).

SINGAPORE — A 26-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving his vehicle, a lorry and a bus early on Thursday (May 25).
In response to TODAY’s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police said that they were alerted to the accident, which occurred at the junction of Victoria Street and Bras Basah Road at about 7.40am.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by an SCDF paramedic, the police said in a statement.
Another person at the scene was assessed for minor injuries but did not want to be taken to the hospital, SCDF said.
A 31-year-old male lorry driver is assisting the police with investigations.
Images in a post on the Facebook group Singapore roads accident.com showed a badly damaged motorcycle at the side of the road with debris strewn on the ground.
Another image showed a motorcycle helmet flung some distance away from the vehicle.
Police investigations are ongoing.
