SINGAPORE — Two more residents at the Mindsville@Napiri housing facility for people with intellectual disability have tested positive for Covid-19, making it 32 cases in the cluster so far.
In its second update on the coronavirus situation here on Monday (June 7), the Ministry of Health (MOH) said that the two infected persons — who have both been vaccinated against Covid-19 and had no symptoms — were part of five cases in the community confirmed for the day.
All five have been traced to previous cases, including two people linked to the cluster at a barber shop in Simpang Bedok, bringing the tally there to eight.
Another nine cases were imported, making up a total of 14 cases reported on Monday.
Overall, the number of new cases in the community has gone down from 128 in the week before to 105 in the past week.
The number of cases with no known links in the community has also dropped from 23 in the week before to 15 in the past week.

- A 55-year-old Singaporean woman who works as an administrative staff member at heavy machinery provider Alco Engineering Trading and was last at work on Feb 11
- She is a family member of a 61-year-old woman who works at a Singapore Pools outlet at NTUC FairPrice supermarket on Clementi Avenue 3
IMPORTED CASES
The nine new cases were all placed on stay-home notice upon their arrival here, MOH said.
They were:

Two Singaporeans and three permanent residents who returned from Belgium, India and the United Kingdom

One work pass holder who came from the Philippines

Three work permit holders who arrived from Indonesia and Malaysia — one of whom is a foreign domestic worker
UPDATE ON REMAINING CASES
The total number of infections in Singapore is now 62,210.
Of these, 61,660 people have fully recovered and been discharged, including 25 on Monday.
There are still 204 patients in hospitals. Of these, most are stable or improving, and two are in critical condition.
Another 313 patients are isolated at community facilities. They have mild symptoms or are clinically well but still tested positive for Covid-19.
Thirty-three people have died from complications due to the disease.
