Party with the stars at this year’s countdown to 2017 at Suntec City

SINGAPORE — The largest countdown street party on New Year’s eve will be held at Suntec City’s Fountain of Wealth this year, with the venue to be transformed into a spectacular party ground for revellers to enjoy performances, eat, drink and welcome 2017 with Mediacorp celebrities.

The Mediacorp Channel 5’s Celebrate 2017: Countdown With The Stars will be hosted by DJs Jean Danker, Yasminne Cheng, Vernetta Lopez, Mike Kasem and the Brocode (Gerald Koh & Joakim Gomez)

There will be seven hours of non-stop entertainment and a star-studded lineup with close to 40 artistes, including Rahimah Rahim, Gentle Bones, Najip Ali, Rebecca Lim, Elvin Ng, Felicia Chin, Romeo Tan and more. Highlights of the night’s programme include collaborations between local musicians Taufik and DJ Rave Republic, Tay Kewei and The Façade, and Dru Chen and Joakim Gomez.

There will also be 2.017 million Suntec Reward Points to be won, and S$10,000 cash from Nissan and Subaru. In addition, all party goers will receive a Suntec City Countdown with the Stars discount booklet with offers worth over S$100

Celebrate 2017: Countdown With The Stars will be held on Dec 31, 7.30pm to 2am at Suntec City. Admission is free. The party will also be televised ‘live’ from 11pm to 12.15am on Channel 5.
