Police collect bags of evidence from house of Kovan murder suspect
Police have collected bags of evidence from the three-room flat of Iskandar Rahmat, the suspect in the double murder that occurred in Kovan.
A team from the Police Forensics Management Branch cordoned off the house earlier this afternoon.
According to his neighbours, Iskandar lived at the Kim Keat Ave flat with his wife and parents. They moved in about a year ago. Iskandar and his wife have no children. Neighbours also told TODAY that his family lived quietly and kept to themselves.
Iskandar was arrested by Malaysian police at a restaurant in Danga Bay, in Johor Bahru, around 11.30pm last night (July 12). He had crossed the Causeway on a scooter around 11pm on Wednesday, the same day the two bodies were found.
