SINGAPORE — The police are looking into an incident, captured on a video, involving a man standing by the roadside in Simei and allegedly throwing stones at passing vehicles.

The video, posted on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page on Tuesday (Dec 13) afternoon, has been shared extensively on social media.

The 37-second video clip shows a man apparently throwing stones at passing vehicles.

The man looks to be standing on the side of Simei Avenue between Simei Street 3 and the slip road onto the Pan-Island Expressway.

Dressed in a black singlet and shorts and appearing to be middle-aged, he can be seen along the roadside holding some objects in his hand. It is not clear from the video what he is holding.

The clip, which so far has gathered more than 2,000 views, shows the man swinging his left arm back and making a motion of throwing something at the passing vehicles along the road. This happens at least twice.

Towards the end of the clip, he turns to his right and starts walking along the pavement by the road.

In response to queries from TODAY on Tuesday, the police have confirmed that a report was made and that they are looking into the incident.
