Singapore's all-items CPI rose 0.2 per cent, down from 0.5 per cent growth in February.
The median forecast in a Reuters poll was for a 0.5 per cent rise.
Singapore's core inflation gauge in March, was up less than expected at 1.5 per cent from a year earlier. The median forecast in a Reuters poll was for a 1.7 per cent rise.
