S’poreans in Hong Kong to ‘avoid demonstrations’: MFA
SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) issued a travel notice for Hong Kong today (Sept 29), asking Singaporeans to ‘avoid the crowd and demonstrations’. The advisory, which was posted on the MFA webside, also urged travellers to Hong Kong to monitor the local news and developments closely and heed the instructions of local authorities. Visitors were advised to take all necessary precautions for personal safety, including purchasing comprehensive travel and medical insurance.
