StarHub doubles rebate on service paired with cross-carried BPL matches

SINGAPORE — StarHub said today (Aug 8) that it is doubling its rebate to customers who opt to watch Barclays Premier League (BPL) matches cross-carried on its service.

SINGAPORE — StarHub said today (Aug 8) that it is doubling its rebate to customers who opt to watch Barclays Premier League (BPL) matches cross-carried on its service.

It said in a statement that customers will receive up to S$30 off their bills per month, capped at a maximum of S$600.

StarHub said the offer is open to both new and existing customers.Those who wish to sign up for the deal will first have to register with SingTel for BPL content to be cross-carried on StarHub, and pay SingTel S$59.90 per month.

Earlier on Aug 3, StarHub had said it was offering a S$300 rebate for customers who recontract or sign up for broadband and TV bundles, while taking up BPL matches to be cross-carried on its service.

Rival SingTel had said that its own discount of S$480 was 60 per cent higher than Starhub’s earlier offer.
