Woman, 28, taken to hospital after accident along Keppel Road allegedly involving McLaren

SINGAPORE — A 28-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a car accident along Keppel Road late on Sunday (May 21).

SINGAPORE — A 28-year-old woman was taken to hospital after a car accident along Keppel Road late on Sunday (May 21).

In response to TODAY’s queries, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and the police said that they were alerted to the accident along Keppel Road towards Shenton Way at about 10pm on Sunday.

The woman, who was a passenger in the car, was conscious when taken to Singapore General Hospital, the authorities said.

A post on the Facebook group SG Road Vigilante identified the car involved in the accident as a McLaren MP4-12C.

Images in the post showed a badly damaged luxury car beside a viaduct with the licence plate number of the vehicle visible.

Police investigations are ongoing.
