Haze has united S’poreans

The haze seems to have united Singaporeans more than the National Day Parade has. We showed our humorous side by posting Internet memes about the haze and Facebook statuses about how the Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) beat our PSLE scores.

The haze seems to have united Singaporeans more than the National Day Parade has. We showed our humorous side by posting Internet memes about the haze and Facebook statuses about how the Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) beat our PSLE scores.

Also, it is heartening to see people coming together — like the SG Haze Rescue Facebook group and those who distributed masks and herbal tea to their neighbours — to extend a hand to those who might be more affected by the haze.

Clearly, we are not a nation of whiners who rely solely on the Government to guide us through the smog.
