One glaring difference between airport buses and trains in Singapore and those in Hong Kong is the lack of proper luggage holding areas.

How can the Land Transport Authority (LTA) allow standard bus or train designs to be used for those going to the airport?

Travellers going to the airport using public transport will be carrying luggage which will block  passageways on buses or trains. There is no proper way to secure the big suitcases which may even roll across the aisle when buses or trains move.
