When asked how parliamentary debates in Singapore have changed with more opposition MPs in the House, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong said there is improvement if viewed as a "television debate". However, it is unclear if people's understanding of current affairs has gotten better, as some topics become opportunities for the opposition to score political points in Parliament.
