Son attacks dad with parang after he was not allowed to use motorcycle

The victim's 38-year-old son was arrested the next day somewhere in the village, reported national news agency Bernama.
Police determined that the son, a known drug addict, become upset when his father refused to allow him to use the motorcycle.
In a fit of anger, the man allegedly slashed his father several times with the parang causing serious injuries.
Perak Tengah police chief Mohamad Zainal Abdullah said the victim sustained injuries to the head, right arm and left palm in the 2pm incident.
He was later treated at the Ulu Dedap clinic in Seberang Perak.
"We picked up the jobless suspect, who is the 12th of 13 siblings, the next day in the village,’’ he said.
He added that urine test conducted on the suspect showed traces of methamphetamine. NEW STRAITS TIMES
