SINGAPORE — Actors Desmond Tan, Maxi Lim and Jeffrey Xu will co-host Y.E.S 93.3FM’s evening show Ning @ Night from 9pm to 11pm with deejay Chen Ning every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday respectively from March 9, said the radio station in a media release.

It will be the three actors’ first foray into radio.

“This will be my first time hosting a radio show. I feel excited because I have been listening to Y.E.S 93.3FM since I was a student so it is like a dream come true to be a part of the radio station! I hope to bring something new to the table,” said Tan.

“I’m a little nervous about my first radio gig because I have never done anything like it before and it is full of unknowns. I look forward to learning about this new work environment and interacting with the fans!” said Xu.

The trio will not be the only new voices on the airwaves this March. News presenters Ng Siew Leng and Wang Zheng will co-host Capital 95.8FM’s The Single Show with veteran deejay Lingzhi from 1pm to 2pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively, from March 9.

March is shaping up to be a month of change for MediaCorp’s Mandarin radio stations. Love 97.2FM recently announced that Singapore funnyman Mark Lee, who had been standing in for veteran deejay Marcus Chin for the past three months, will host its morning show, The Big Breakfast Show, as an official member of the team from 8am to 9am, every weekday morning from today (March 2).
