SINGAPORE— Ex-Class 95FM DJ Glenn Ong is getting back into business — just not the business he’s usually associated with.
Just five days after his departure from MediaCorp, F&B and hospitality consulting firm, CIR VIS, announced today (Jan 13) that Ong has taken up a role as Director at the firm.
According to a company statement, Ong will be lending his expertise to drive up the profile of the consulting firm’s events and entertainment management sectors, as well as to expand the business’s regional and international business.
CIR VIS founder Chris Glaessel said Ong’s personality and energy is well suited to the role. Glaessel also hopes that Ong can inject “Singapore’s DNA” into future projects the firm will be picking up.
“A great partnership has started” he said. “With his new calling, Glenn, the team and I believe that we can truly make a dent in the hospitality universe.”
“I am excited to be part of a company that recognises the true potential of Singapore as a driving force in the worldwide service industries,” Ong added. “I believe that it is my turn to give back to Singapore by channelling my focus into being an active voice for this cause and make a difference.”
