Taiwan stars Weng Li You, Cai Qiu Feng to hold Hokkien Hits Concert in S’pore
SINGAPORE – The Hokkien Hits Concert will be returning to Singapore on Father’s Day this year, with performances by veteran Taiwanese singers Weng Li You, Cai Qiu Feng, Long Qian Yu and Zhang Rong Rong.

SINGAPORE – The Hokkien Hits Concert will be returning to Singapore on Father’s Day this year, with performances by veteran Taiwanese singers Weng Li You, Cai Qiu Feng, Long Qian Yu and Zhang Rong Rong.
Weng Li You, who was awarded Best Hokkien Male Singer at the 20th Golden Melody Awards in 2009, is best known for singing the theme songs to many popular Taiwanese dramas such as Love, Night Market Life and The Unforgettable Memory. Weng will share the stage with Taiwanese diva Cai Qiu Feng, who was the first Hokkien singer to be invited by the Esplanade to stage her solo concert at the Esplanade Concert Hall in 2008. Some of her biggest hits include Jin Bao Yin, Suan Ming and Yu Shui Wo Wen Ni. Veteran Hokkien singer Long Qian Yu is, of course, the voice behind hits like Ah Lang, Feng Zhong De Mei Gui and Zhi Ai Ni Yi Ge, while Zhang Rong Rong has released more than 20 successful Hokkien albums.
Hokkien Hits 2015 will be held at 8pm, Sunday, June 21 at MasterCard Theatres, Marina Bay Sands. Tickets from S$58 to S$158 available at SISTIC or www.marinabaysands.com/ticketing from April 24.
