TODAY on set: A Blessed Life

SINGAPORE — Greetings and salutations, fellow stargazers! This is your Showbiz Sista being a total groupie today on the set of the upcoming MediaCorp TV Channel 8 sitcom, A Blessed Life!

The show stars Li Nanxing as a kind soul who goes around helping a bunch of people, including his friends played by Zhu Hou Ren, Richard Low and Brandon Wong. In fact, he goes so far as to help them find a renewed purpose in life – by starting a band.

Of course, we HAD to go all the way down to Zouk in broad daylight just to see them in concert – because Li Nanxing, Zhu Hou Ren, Richard Low, Ye Shipin and Jian Han make up the most adorbs old man band you’ve ever laid eyes on.

Who’s the best musician in the band? Who’s the worst? And does the lead guitarist really get all the girls? I don’t know about their music, but Nanxing, Richard, Hou Ren and Jian Han sure would make great stand-up comedians.
