SINGAPORE — Anthony Bourdain is back to makan in Singapore.
The 60-year-old Parts Unknown host was pictured in a selfie posted by hawker Li Ruifang on Tuesday evening. Li is the owner of 545 Whampoa Noodles in Tekka Food Centre.
Prominent local food television host and writer K.F Seetoh also posted a photo of Bourdain at the food centre where the pair had prawn noodles at Li's hawker stall.
Li gave up a job at a multi-national company in 2013 in order to revive her family's business, which was started by her grandfather.
"I'm trying to maintain people but Anthony Bourdain came for my noodles!" she wrote in her post.
Bourdain, a hugely popular American television personality and author of the candid Kitchen Confidential (2000), was also in town to visit whisky bar and jazz lounge B28 in Ann Siang Road.
He was reportedly here to film a show for American television network, CNN.
Where next, Bourdain?
