Tiger Beer launches its version of the enduring lemon and beer mix

SINGAPORE — If you’re not too averse to adding a wedge of citrus to a cold one, or kicking back with a pint of Shandy, then you’ll love Tiger Beer’s new offering. It has launched the Tiger Radler, an inspired variant and product innovation that is made of Tiger Beer with natural lemon juice to provide consumers with double refreshment. The name (Radler is German for “cyclist”) is a nod to the originator, tavern owner Frank Xaver Kugler, who in June 1922 added lemon juice to his beer to keep an unexpected 13,000 cyclists happy when they popped by his pub.

The new Tiger Radler can be enjoyed with a range of cuisines, including local hawker favourites like laksa.
