WP chairman Sylvia Lim's first Instagram post – from Fengshan

SINGAPORE – Workers’ Party chairman Sylvia Lim has launched her Instagram account. And her first post yesterday (Aug 12) was a picture of herself tucking in to a plate of Oyster Omelette at Fengshan Hawker Centre.

Along with the picture, Ms Lim wrote: “The taste of Fengshan – heavenly!” She also used hashtag #reasontowin – perhaps the strongest hint yet that she may stand in the Single Member Contituency at the upcoming elections.

WP has so far remained tight-lipped on the party’s line-up. Only Mr Low Thia Khiang has said he will stay put and defend Aljunied Group Representation Constituency (GRC).

At his meet-the-people session last night, Mr Low hinted that his party may make an announcement this Sunday during their WP walkabout.
