SINGAPORE — Another clue has emerged hinting that LionsXII midfielder Hariss Harun will don the colours of Malaysian Super League (MSL) rivals Johor Darul Takzim next season.
The 23-year-old Singapore national midfielder’s name was included in Johor Darul Takzim’s squad roster for 2014 on the club’s Facebook page and listed as being able to play in central defence or central or defensive midfield.
An announcement is expected soon to officially confirm the player’s move.
Other names listed for the 2014 season include former Argentina international playmaker Pablo Aimar, who appeared at the 2002 World Cup, and Malaysian internationals Safiq Rahim and Norshahrul Idlan Talaha.
Apart from Hariss, Baihakki Khaizan and Shahril Ishak are two LionsXII names who could also be leaving the MSL champions and moving across the Causeway.
Last month, TODAY reported that Johor Football Association President Ismail Idris, who is also the Crown Prince of Johor, announced that Shahril, 29, is expected to join them for next year.
Centre-back Baihakki has also been linked with a move to the southern Malaysian side.
