Taiwanese star and ex-Fahrenheit member Aaron Yan has finally reached a “satisfactory resolution” in his dispute with his former lover, 21-year-old influencer Yao Le.

Last June, the latter accused Aaron, 38, of raping him and secretly filming sex videos of him in 2018 when he was 16. The videos were later leaked.

The pair had their third court-mediation session on Mar 11, and it is understood that Aaron was did not show up for the session and was represented by his lawyer.

According to reports, Yao Le appeared relaxed after the mediation, and told reporters that he hopes the case can be settled soon so he can return to his normal life.

He did not respond when asked if he had forgiven Aaron.

Yao Le cannot wait for the case to be over.

When Aaron turned up later for the court session, he told reporters they had reached a settlement.

Though Aaron declined to disclose the amount, Yao Le revealed previously that he requested Aaron donate NT$7mil (S$290K) to a charity fund, among other terms of the settlement.

In December last year, sexual assault and secret photography charges against Aaron were dropped due to insufficient evidence.

Following that, the singer implored on the media and public to choose their words carefully and not to attribute to him things he had not done.
