Blackpink: The Movie Set For Disney+ Launch On Dec 15

Jisoo’s new K-drama ‘Snowdrop’ will also drop on the streaming service this month.

Good news for Blackpink fans! If you miss Blackpink: The Movie in the cinemas in August, fret not! You can catch it on Disney+ on Dec 15.

Directed by Su Yee Jung (My Life in Your Memories) and Oh Yoon Dong (Montecristo; The Music Live)Blackpink: The Movie features exclusive interviews with members Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa as they recount their favourite and most intimate memories from the group’s first five years.

The documentary also includes never-before-seen behind-the-scenes clips from music video shoots, concert rehearsals, unique art films created for each member of Blackpink, and live performances from their 2018’s ‘In Your Area’ and 2021’s ‘The Show’ tours.

That’s not the only Blackpink-related show coming to the streaming service. Jisoo will make her lead role debut in the K-drama Snowdrop opposite Jung Hae-In (D.P.)

Set against the backdrop of the 1987 Democracy Movement, Snowdrop follows the forbidden love story between Su-Ho (Jung), a mysterious graduate student, and Young-Ro (Jisoo), a university student who lives in an all-female dorm.

Snowdrop is slated to premiere on Disney+ later this month.
