Blackpink Shein version: Life-sized 'replicas' of K-pop girl group horrify netizens

If these figures were in our area, we would get out of there immediately.

If you’ve ever visited a celebrity wax museum, you would have realised that not all wax figures are made equal. While some look just like the stars they are modelled after, others, well, belong in Halloween Horror Nights.

One particular life-sized exhibit of K-pop girl group Blackpink recently caught the attention of many netizens because they look nothing like the quartet at all.

Indonesian Instagram user blinkstwitter8 took to their page to share a video of what was meant to be models of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. The caption? “Blackpink idk version 😭 with their "the show" outfits 😭😭😭.

Firstly, we only know the figures are meant to represent Blackpink because of the placard placed in front of them.

Sadly, they look more like mass-produced mannequins haphazardly dressed in cheap outfits and wigs.

Netizens got a good laugh, with some saying they could pick out which one is Rosé only because of its blonde hair.

Others came up with hilarious group names for the inanimate quartet, like “Blacklist”, “Pinkishwhite”, and “Budget Blackpink”.

“That’s not Blackpink, that's Pinkblack,” laughed one netizen, while another said "this is Blackpink purchased from Shein”.
