Last Saturday (Oct 23), Cheryl Wee, 34, the daughter of beauty maven Jean Yip and the founder of Cheryl W Wellness & Weight Management, welcomed her third child, a baby girl. And boy, did she arrive in style.

As Cheryl shared in her Instagram, she’d gone for a long-awaited date night dinner at omakase sushi restaurant, Sushi Masaaki, with her husband Roy Fong on Friday (Oct 22) night.

They originally planned to have dinner there in May this year, but due to a myriad of reasons, their dinner was eventually postponed to October 22.

However, when the time for dinner drew near, Cheryl began having contractions.

I thought we’d had to cancel this dinner again”, Roy shared in his Instagram caption. But the couple pressed on, and had a wonderful dinner.

Then, the action begun.

What started out as a date night turned into welcoming our little girl into the family”, Cheryl wrote on Instagram, sharing that she begun to go into labour soon after the meal, eventually delivering her baby girl on Saturday.

Could Baby No. 3 be a foodie in the making? All signs point to yes.

As of press time, Cheryl and her husband have not shared their baby’s name. Cheryl and Roy have two older kids — Marc, three, and Emma, one.
