When the person taking the video couldn’t stop laughing (perhaps out of amusement), Qinqin smiled and said, “[Food] cannot be wasted. Don’t always laugh at me!”

She added that her heart hurts when she sees food going to waste.

She then continued packing the leftovers while chatting away with her friends, impervious to the reactions of other guests around her.

Qinqin’s actions certainly impressed netizens, who praised her for being so diligent and thrifty.

“Packing food isn’t shameful, but wasting food is,” commented one, while others called Qinqin “a good actress with a down-to-earth attitude” and reminded others to follow her example.

According to reports, Qinqin has always been known for being extremely frugal.

Not only does she always finish the food on her plate, she is reluctant to spend money on fancy clothes and other luxuries, opting to buy 20 yuan (about S$4) hats and other inexpensive things.
