Chinese idol Cai Xukun allegedly got a woman pregnant and told her to get an abortion

The pair reportedly had a one-night stand after meeting at a KTV bar in 2021.

Chinese idol Cai Xukun, 24, who shot to fame in 2017 after winning talent search Idol Producer, has been accused of getting a woman pregnant and asking her to get an abortion.

According to a paparazzo who went public with the scandal yesterday (Jun 26), Xukun and the woman, called C, had a one-night stand after meeting through a friend at a Beijing KTV bar in May 2021.

C found out that she was pregnant a month later, but when she broke the news to Xukun, he allegedly told her to get an abortion.

She eventually aborted the baby in July.

Xukun’s mum thinks it’s a ploy to blackmail her son

The paparazzo revealed that when Xukun’s mum learned about the pregnancy, she became highly suspicious and believed C was trying to blackmail her son.

Not only did she get her staff to contact C about getting an abortion and offered her a sum of money as compensation, she also hired a private investigator to follow C and illegally installed a pinhole camera on her apartment door to monitor her activities.

When she saw a man entering and leaving C’s home, she believed that C was pregnant with another man’s child, and not Xukun’s. But the guy turned out to be the boyfriend of C’s pal.

C revealing evidence of the scandal

Almost two years after the incident, C finally decided to expose Xukun and his mum for the distress they caused her.

In the paparazzo’s live broadcast yesterday (Jun 26), C shared an ultrasound pic of the baby, abortion documents, WeChat records between Xukun’s mum and her staff, as well as her voice recording.

In the recording, Xukun’s mum could be heard saying: "I think [C] will not agree so quickly [to the abortion]. Go withdraw cash, about 100,000 to 200,000 yuan (around S$18.7K to S$34.4K), there is no need to give so much at once. There is no sense of trust between us now."

According to the paparazzo, C is supposed to receive 500,000 yuan (S$94.6K) as compensation.

The paparazzo added that this is only the tip of the iceberg and that more evidence will be revealed in future.

When the media contacted Xukun following the expose, he merely said “I don’t know” and hung up.
