Disgraced Chinese Star Zheng Shuang's New Weibo Account Taken Down Just 2 Days After She Returns To The Platform

Disgraced Chinese actress Zheng Shuang, 31, saw her career come to a halt last year after it was revealed that she had abandoned her kids, whom she had via surrogacy, which is illegal in China, with her ex-boyfriend in the US.

A few months later, she was fined S$62mil for evading taxes, which effectively ended her showbiz career.

Recently, it was revealed that Zheng Shuang started a new Weibo account. 

On Sep 12, the actress shared on Instagram a screenshot of a Weibo account titled 'ZS Work Studio. She wrote: “I am firm on having my own rights protected, I have my own mouth [to speak] and my own judgment, I can speak for myself. I hope that anti-fans are able to come to their senses, and stop using my name to attack others. Otherwise, [they] will be courting [their] own downfall; please respect yourselves! This account will ensure that I have my rights, please don’t trust anyone else, or else you’ll have to pay the consequences."

There were plenty of updates from her on the new Weibo account

After the very serious warning, the following posts on her new Weibo page were made up of updates, including a pic of her carrying her dog.

The day after her grand return to Weibo, Zheng Shuang shared a post describing how two people pretended to be her staff, and tried to scam a huge sum of money from others. She then wrote that her management was successful in getting the money back.

However, many were confused about the post.

Then two days later, her Weibo account was taken down after it was reported for “breaching Weibo studio account rules”.

As for the legitimacy of her social media accounts, many netizens believe they were created by fans, as the IP address of the Weibo account traced back to ChongQing.

Zheng Shuang is said to be living in the US and she revealed in a now-deleted post that she's focusing on “her children and parenting courses”.
