8 DAYS Exclusive: Win McDonald’s Limited-Edition 40th Anniversary Happy Meal Toys
Get these retro reissued toys by answering a simple question.
If you were a kid in the ’80s and ’90s, chances are you’d have fond memories of snagging a free classic character toy like Hamburglar, Grimace, Power Ranger, Bugs Bunny, My Little Pony and Furby with your McDonald’s Happy Meal box. The set meal for kids was first introduced in 1979, and became well-known for its cheerful red cardboard box containing fast food treats and toys.
To celebrate the Happy Meal’s 40th birthday this year, McDonald’s is bringing back 15 of its most iconic vintage toys from the past four decades to Singaporeans. And we bet both kiddos and adult collectors are going to chiong for this nostalgic #throwback launch, especially if you regret tossing your old cherished toys like the McDonald’s gang figurines, the Hamburger Changeable transformer, and the Happy Meal Box dinosaur during the last CNY spring-cleaning.
Better yet, you don’t have to queue up, camp out on McDonald’s website or even spend any money to get your hands on these toys. 8days.sg is exclusively giving away 160 of the reissued Happy Meal toys to 80 lucky winners — each winner gets to redeem two toys in sealed packets from a lucky dip box at McDonald’s Singapore HQ, tikam-style (no choosing, guys).
All you have to do is answer a simple question by guessing the identity of a silhouette of a fan-favourite Happy Meal toy via the contest form at the end of this article, fill in your particulars, and the first 80 correct entries will win the toys. The contest ends November 30, 2019, 5pm. Winners will be notified via e-mail with instructions on prize collection by December 2, 2019.
