KFC Bringing Back Its Fried Chicken Skin In Bigger Quantities
It was sold out in four hours when it was first launched.
When KFC first launched its Chicken Skin snack last November, it was sold out in four hours at the mere 20 outlets stocking it. There were disappointed customers and angry social media rants… But good news, the fast food chain is bringing back the fried chook skin this February 20, and it will be available at all KFC outlets islandwide (except Singapore Zoo and KidZania) and via KFC Delivery.
The Chicken Skin will be sold at $3.50 a box, and consists of “freshly hand-breaded” chicken skin “coated with KFC’s secret recipe of 11 herbs & spices, then fried to crispy perfection in our restaurants”. Check out our earlier review here.
Alas, each customer is limited to only five boxes of Chicken Skin. If you want to see more skin, KFC is also launching a social media contest till February 20, 8.20pm, where you can win 20 boxes of Chicken Skin. The mechanics: follow KFC on either Facebook or Instagram, tag as many of your squad as you can in a comment, and, in exactly 20 words, profess your love for the Chicken Skin and why you deserve to win 20 boxes of it. Two best comments will win, and the winners will have 20 boxes of chook skin delivered to them on February 21.
Chicken Skin available from February 20 at all KFC outlets (except Singapore Zoo and KidZania), while stocks last. www.kfc.com.sg.
