Kit Kat is available in almost every flavour you can think of these days. We’ve tried the naturally pink (and unexpectedly yummy) Kit Kat Ruby, and the chocolate wafer’s premium Chocolatory range also offers localised picks such as Traditional Nasi Lemak and Ondeh-Ondeh.
Confectionery giant Nestlé’s upcoming flavour for their famous wafer is a marriage of sweet and savoury: Popcorn. The new flavour will be launched in Singapore islandwide from June 20.
According to Nestlé, their “smooth milk chocolate” Kit Kats are “dusted with crusty salted caramel flakes, encasing layers of freshly-baked crispy wafer with salted caramel popcorn praline”.
It’ll come in a pack of five wafers (from $3.40) and eight wafers ($4.95), and will be on shelves till October 2019 on a while-stocks-last basis.
