McDonald’s Launches New Mala McShaker Fries To Spice Up New Year’s Eve

So there’s no mala burger yet, but McDonald’s has decided to end 2020 with a spicy bang: say hello to its new Mala McShaker Fries, on sale tomorrow from 31 December 2020 to, er, shake up your New Year's Eve makan plans. It's a limited-edition menu item.

The shaker fries’ seasoning mix is made with a blend of Szechuan peppercorns, chilli powder, and “other umami spices to deliver that spicy and numbing goodness”. Noice. You can opt to add on the fries in an extra value meal for just 70 cents.

There’s a double deal for spice fiends: the 2x Value Meal comes with two sets of Upsized Extra Value Meals that include: two McSpicy burgers, two Mala McShaker Fries, two cokes from $15 (U.P. $17.20 for two sets).

The new Mala McShaker Fries, 2x Value Meal and McSpicy Upsized Meal are available at all McDonald’s restaurants & via McDelivery, GrabFood & Foodpanda while stocks last.

Also new: the Breakfast McSaver Meal, launching 4 January. From just $4.50 (usual price $5.40), choose one (or all three) of these McDonald’s brekkie classics: Egg McMuffin, Sausage McMuffin or Chicken Muffin. Comes with a Hashbrown and hot McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or tea as part of the meal.
