McDonald's and K-pop are usually not mentioned in the same sentence, till now. Come May 27, the fast food chain is launching a new collaboration with iconic group BTS, by selling sets of their go-to McMeal order. The special menu 'tour' will be introduced in nearly 50 countries worldwide.

And here's what Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook like to eat: The BTS Meal includes a nine-piece Chicken McNuggets box, a large-sized fries, large-sized drink, plus Sweet Chilli and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea . (And you wonder how the boys stay in fantastic shape.)

1 of 1 The teaser poster

The Golden Arches almost broke the internet when it released this teaser 'poster' of the collab online today (Apr 19), with the BTS logo replaced by McDonald's shoestring fries. Very cute.

“The band has great memories with McDonald’s. We’re excited about this collaboration and can’t wait to share the BTS Meal with the world,” says BTS' label Bighit Music.

And according to Drina Chee, McDonald's Senior Director of Marketing & Digital Customer Experience: “No matter who you are, everyone has a go-to order at McDonald’s – even international superstars like BTS.”

McDonald's first launched its Celebrity Signature Orders programme in the US last September, when it teamed up with American rapper Travis Scott (aka Kylie Jenner's on-off boyfriend) to launch a Cactus Jack meal combo named after his record label. The meal features a Quarter Pounder with cheese, lettuce and bacon, plus fries, barbecue sauce and a Sprite with extra ice the way Travis likes it.

The BTS Meal will be available from May 27 at McDonald's Singapore outlets, Drive-Thrus and via McDelivery. More information will be shared via McDonald's social channels like Facebook and Instagram.
