Streetwear Label Supreme Launching Specially Branded Oreo Cookies & Ziploc Bags
Truly a supreme snack
Streetwear label Supreme is well-known for making very random items slapped with its famous red-and-white logo. Its past launches included a brick (yes, really), Chinese medicine balls, lawn chairs and a fire extinguisher, ‘cos it’s too mundane to put out a fire with a regular extinguisher. For its upcoming Spring/Summer 2020 accessories launch happening on February 20 at its New York stores, the brand is dropping more inane goods, like branded Oreo cookies and Ziploc bags.
According to Supreme’s official website, the cookies are “double stuff Oreo cookies with baked logo”, and come in single packs of three. The red cookie with white cream kinda looks like Oreo’s limited-edition Red Velvet flavour to us.
US-based food website Eater reports that each pack of cookies will cost US$8 ($11.20). For comparison, a nine-pack Red Velvet Oreos box (with three cookies in a pack) costs just S$1.95 at FairPrice supermarket. Not that people will squander it as a midnight snack anyway, since it's practically an investment, like owning a Rolex or Hermès Birkin.
If you have dough to spare, the cookies are already listed on eBay for a current bid of US$4,000. The oblong packaging looks exactly like Supreme’s red box logo. Dope.
You can stow your Supreme Oreos in specially branded Supreme Ziploc bags, which come in boxes of 30 pieces with a stamped logo. Peak Hypebeast snackage.
