Elvin Ng Gets Called An “Old Uncle” In Hilarious Video Where Kids Ask Him Kaypoh Questions

Kids really have no filter.

Kids ask the darnedest questions. And Elvin Ng, 41, was the ‘victim' of six rambunctious children in the opening episode of Hello, Big Shots! Season 2, where kids get a chance to interview famous Singapore personalities from all walks of life.

Okay well, Elvin did declare that he “knows how to play with kids” (after all, he’s really close with his nieces and nephew), so he did withstand their onslaught of questions pretty well.

Things took an interesting turn right from the get-go. Just look at Elvin’s facial expression when a kid asked if he “was single”.

“For today, I’m single,” Elvin joked.

Later, as the kids made their grand entrance, Elvin was officially christened an “uncle”, or in the eyes of this little boy, an “old uncle”. Ouch.

Next, another kid asked if Elvin had a girlfriend “in real life”.

“If I had one, she’ll be waiting outside for me,” he joked, before being quickly rebutted by this answer: “Maybe she’s at home cooking for you.”

Elvin then went on to say: “I've had many on-screen ‘girlfriends’. They’ll always get married shortly after I ask them to be my girlfriend. They don’t want me. Why is it like that?”

And the response from the kids?

“Maybe it’s ‘cos they think you were just playing with them,” said one girl, while another boy added: “Like an uncle.”

Double ouch.
