Last week, Hong Kong actor Roger Kwok, 59, and his wife, former TVB star Cindy Au, 44, announced their split after 18 years of marriage.

The pair, who are parents to teenagers, Brad, 16, and Blair, 13, had already been living apart for two years.

After the news broke, reports claimed that Cindy will not be entitled to a share of Roger’s real estate assets.

Roger owns residential and commercial properties in Man Lok Street’s Gemstar Tower, Taikoo Shing Marina Cove, Chung Kiu Commercial Building, and Superluck Industrial Centre. They are said to be worth an estimated HK$90mil (S$15mil).

According to the reports, Cindy had found it “too troublesome” to have the properties be under both Roger and her names. As a result, Roger is listed as the sole owner.

Roger once shared that he plans to give most of his wealth to good causes before he dies in the future. Cindy was said to be very supportive of his plan. So we guess it all works out?
