Fandi Ahmad’s Wife Wendy Jacobs Laments How Fast Her 5 Gorgeous Kids Have Grown Up; Here’s What They’ve Been Up To
We need a new family pic of Singapore's answer to the Beckhams stat.
Just like their dad, Fandi’s three older sons, Irfan, 24, Ikhsan, 22, and Ilhan, 18 are all professional footballers. All three also play for the Singapore national team. Youngest son Iryan, 15, is still schooling.
Meanwhile, the couple’s only daughter, Iman, 21, has grown up to be a stunner just like her mum. After making her modelling debut at 14, she recently made her debut as a singer.
On Wed (Oct 13), Wendy posted a photo of the fam, sharing that she really misses her kids. The throwback picture appears to have been taken in 2019, presumably before Ikhsan left for Europe (more on that later!).
No matter how near or far you are my heart has a special place for each and everyone of you babies,” she wrote, adding that they'll always be her babies. Aww…
So, just how near (or far) are the five Fandi kids? Scroll on to find out.
The handsome 1.88m-tall Irfan currently plays for the Thai professional football club, BG Pathum United, as a centre-back. Earlier this year, the team won the Thai League 1 title, making Irfan the first Singaporean to win the accolade.
He is based in Bangkok, and for those who are wondering, he’s taken. He’s now dating Thai model and beauty queen, Anntonia Porslid, 24.
Ikhsan now plays for Norwegian team FK Jerv, with his current contract lasting till 2022. He previously played for Norwegian First Division club Raufoss IL from 2019 to 2020.
The 1.83m-tall striker is the first Singaporean to play in Europe in 30 years. Of course, his father was the first Singaporean to ever play in Europe, with a two-year stint with Netherlands club FC Groninge.
Talk about a legacy.
Iman, who is the spitting image of her mother, wears many hats. She's a model, influencer, actress (she starred in 2019 Mediacorp high school drama Emerald Hill High), and now a singer. The 1.69m-tall beauty is signed on to music label Universal Music Singapore and released her debut single, ‘Timeframe' in February this year.
Iman, who graduated from TMC Academy with a degree in psychology last month, is based in Singapore for now.
Ilhan currently plays for Singapore Premier League club's Young Lions as a midfielder and forward. The 1.82m-tall athlete previously studied at the Queen Ethelburga's College in York, England, before returning to Singapore.
The youngest of the bunch, Iryan turned 15 in August and is studying in Singapore.
While it seems like Iryan is as skilled at football as his older brothers, his passion may just lie elsewhere. In a previous interview, Fandi shared that Iryan wants to play professional rugby in South Africa, where Wendy is from.
