Fans swoon over JJ Lin when he suited up to meet President Halimah Yacob in London

President Halimah was in the British capital for the coronation of King Charles III while JJ was there for his concert tour.

The past week has been a memorable one for JJ Lin.

Not only did the 42-year-old singer wrap up the second quarter of his JJ20 World Tour with a three-night concert in London, he was also invited to a reception held in honour of President Halimah Yacob, who was in the British capital for the coronation of King Charles III.

“What a weekend in London! Had fun with fellow Singaporeans in a reception in the UK held in honour of President Halimah Yacob’s visit to London for the Coronation of King Charles III. Thanks for having me, High Commissioner Mr Lim Thuan Kuan!” JJ wrote on Instagram.

In the photos, JJ, who was dressed in a navy Prada tux and tie, was seen chatting with President Halimah and her husband Mohamad Abdullah Alhabshee as well as Singapore’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Lim Thuan Kuan.

The pop star also posed for pics with London-based
Singaporeans.

The post unsurprisingly generated lots of buzz on the internet.

While some Singapore fans and celebs like Chantalle Ng and Hong Junyang were thrilled by his meeting with President Halimah, others swooned over how  “handsome” and “dapper” JJ looked in a suit.

The singer is
usually decked out in street wear.

There were calls for him to wear it for his future concerts and to even “weld [the suit] to [his] body forever”.

"So handsome, like a man who walked straight out of a comic”, and “Help! I need an ambulance!" were some of the comments.

Definitely deserves a thumbs-up Photos: JJ Lin/Instagram
